Arakune - Bees Bees Bees

Name: Arakune (Formerly Lotte Carmine)

Gender: Male.

Age: Unknown, presumably less than ten years older or younger than Kokonoe/Litchi. Most probably older.

Race: Previously - Probably human. Now - ???

Appearance: Arakune manifests himself as a large, human sized, blob of dark...stuff that seems to drip and seep around and down him.
To symbolise where his 'face' is, Arakune made a white mask with three holes in it. However, this was only made so that people could understand him more -he can see through any part of his 'body'.
At the base of him, malicious faces can often be seen seeping around, these are most likely some of the thousands of insects that he keeps inside of his body.
Inside his body are thousands of insects and many bones which he has molded for his own use.

Loyalty: To himself, and knowledge.

Personality: Arakune sits on the edge of insanity, or rather, several miles off the edge. He has only two goals: To devour people (which he needs to keep him alive), and to collect the pieces of the Azure Grimoire, believing it to be the best source of knowledge in the known universe. On this point, Arakune's only true love in 'life' is knowledge, already knowing more than most people about the universe, but craving more still.
However, underneath this madness, Arakune has some compassion for humans, not wanting them to suffer the same fate as he did.

Weaponry: The many insects and bones that Arakune stores inside of his body, as well as his body itself, are used as weapons.

Abilities: Arakune has many abilities, the first being able to contort his body into almost any shape imaginable, able to grow legs or arms, or even change his body into the chape of a spider or a bird, but his mask is always present. He is also able to change his size from that of a house to being capable of squeezing through cracks in the ground.

Arakune is able to 'devour' people to absorb their lifeforce.

He is able to perform a short-range teleport, just enough to put himself behind his enemy from a metre away.

He is capable of turning partially invisible.

History: Arakune seems to have been a scientist working for or with Kokonoe, whom he was jealous of. He began studying the Boundary at great length, trying to surpass the other scientist. His studies seem to have turned him into the being that he is today, possibly being affected by the boundary and being changed by it.

His only goal now is to devour the users of the Azure Grimoire pieces and absorb their knowledge, in hope of unlocking all the secrets of the universe and of life.
Another thing worth noting is that Litchi-Faye-Ling seems to know who he used to be and wants to try and change him back to his previous state, hinting at some form of previous relationship between the pair. Arakune knows, however, that return to human form is night-impossible for him.
