Yuki Terumi aka Hazama

Appearance: Hazama's appearance is taken after the shady, creepy archetype. He is depicted with bright green hair and an ever present smirk with his eyes closed, belying a demonic nature. He wears a simple black suit with a white shirt underneath, short brown gloves, and brown steel-toed shoes. He dons a pair of black trousers held up by two brown belts. He completes the outfit with a black fedora hat to close the shady visage.

As Terumi, he loses the hat and his hair spikes upward and his eyes are open, showing off golden-yellow irises with snake-like slits for pupils. In his ghost form, he appears as a black apparition with a vague humanoid outline and green veins. His facial features consist of a single beady green eye and an eerie wide smile.

Personality: While in the Hazama persona, Terumi plays himself to be rather reserved. He claims to be not good at things like fighting and tries to avoid it. However, even in this persona, he remains a masterful manipulator and keen observer and a sadist, though quiet about it.

His true self is much louder and a bit more psychotic. He shows some sadism and is continuously insulting and sarcastic. He often mocks those he engages by calling them names and pointing out their mistakes and misinformation in a rather trollish fashion, deriving great enjoyment from it. He has a keen intellect and is very willing to engage in violence.

Weaponry: Nox Nyctores Ouroboros and Azure Grimoire imitation along with butterfly knives

Abilities: In battle, Hazama wields the Nox Nyctores, Ouroboros; a steel hook crafted in the shape of a snake that he summons in front of him, attached to a chain of green/black energy which he can use to attack opponents from afar or reel them in as well as zip around the battlefield quickly, if not instantly, and close gaps between him and his foes. On the other hand, he also uses Balisong-style butterfly knifes for close-range attacks. Most of his attacks are similarly based on summoning green/black energy and serpentine apparitions to attack his foes, with his Astral Finish being a gigantic cobra of green energy composed of many smaller snakes. Outside of his magical prowess, Hazama incredibly nimble and flexible, his moves vaguely reminiscent of dance techniques.

Having been the original creator of the Azure Grimoire, he possesses his own imitation, activating it in an identical manner to mock Ragna. When activated, a large magical circle envelops him, slowly sapping away vitality of anyone who steps inside.




History: Originally, Terumi was one of the Six Heroes who battled the Black Beast in the First War of Magic. Having created the Azure Grimoire and, in turn, the Black Beast, he wished to correct his mistake. Once the Beast was destroyed, he betrayed the other Heroes and murdered Nine, Jubei’s wife and Kokonoe’s mother.

He was the original owner of the Susano'o unit armor (which now belongs to Hakumen), and it is assumed that, after realizing he was forever linked to the Master Unit while in the armor, he drove himself out of it- which is possibly why he now appears as a ghost. He was formerly sealed away in the Boundary after Hakumen sacrificed himself to pull him into the Boundary, with help from Jubei. He was later released from the Boundary by Takamagahara.

Some years later, he appeared at Caelica’s church. He killed Caelica, possessed Jin, cut off Ragna’s arm, and kidnapped Saya (bit of a giant prick, ain’t he?).

During the events of Ragna’s initial arrival in Kagutsutchi, he played the role of Hazama. In the role, he was Noel Vermillion’s direct superior in her operation to locate and recover Jin Kisaragi. He largely observed and avoided fighting anyone. Initially, he only revealed himself as Terumi to Rachel and Valkenhayn, insulting them on both occasions.

After the final fight between Ragna and the Murakumo unit, he appears before Noel and Ragna, and after Rachel arrives, he loses his calm demeanor. His hair spikes up and voice becomes much louder. Rachel and Ragna, having recognized Terumi from the attack on the church years before, attack him immediately, but he simply shrugs it off, and begins to taunt Ragna over the church attack before departing. Later, he gives Tsubaki special orders to kill Jin and Noel.

During the continuum shift, he planned to destroy the core unit, Amaterasu, using Noel by turning her into Mu-12. He sacrificed multiple NOL members to temper the girl. Soon after the transformation, Hazama battles Ragna again and easily overwhelms him. But, Lambda-11 sacrifices herself to protect Ragna, who then uses her Idea Engine to beat Hazama to the ground. Hazama proceeds to taunt Ragna for not killing him. It is then revealed soon after that Hazama and Relius Clover are working for Ragna and Jin's little sister Saya, who is now the Imperator of The NOL. After their departure from the battle scene, Hazama talks with Relius about using the remains of Nu-13 to make the "Sword of the Imperator."

Hazama still chooses to reside in his secret NOL intelligence branch location in order to keep eyes on Kagutsutchi.

Normal people fascinated Hazama. The way they went about their lives with not a care in the world for the big things happening all around them. How their lives could be snuffed out in an instant. These things and more went through his twisted mind as he watched crowds move through the streets.

‘So many delightful possibilities!’ he thought to himself with a gleeful little smirk.

Toying with large groups was so much easier than smaller ones. A stolen item here and replaced there, an insulting word to the right or wrong person. ‘People are just too damn easy to fuck with,’ Hazama mused.

He was bored, though. Very bored. Pushing up from his seat and adjusting his hat, Hazama joined the crowd, looking for the perfect opportunity to start a fight. Or something of that nature. With practiced deftness, his hand snatched something from a handbag and deposited it in another. With even greater ease, he tapped the person he had burgled and pointed to the one he wanted to implicate and spoke of seeing them steal.

He just managed to contain a gleeful giggle as the woman stormed over and started a heated accusation. Normal people were just too damn easy to fuck with.

*Glares ferociously* Seems all in order.

Looks pretty good so far dude. Since this is the primary antagonist we're talking about I'm gonna hold off on voting for another 24 hours to see if our old Hazama decides to make an attempt aswell. This time tomorrow I'll have my vote up and if there's not competition it's a guaranteed approval from me.

We need a good antagonist to get this site off the ground. I haven't heard from our old hazama and yoru app is up to our standards in my book. I trust you'll be active enough to fill this role and so I give you my full approval.
