Name: Ragna the Bloodedge aka The Grim Reaper

Appearance: Ragna has medium length, spikey white hair (formerly blonde), stands six foot, one and his eyes are different colors (one is green while the other is red). His right arm is a prosthetic. His form of dress is a blend of traditional and futuristic. He wears a bright red jacket with two tail hanging down the back along with a black undershirt with a white stripe down the center, two wide black belts, a traditional black hakama, red steel-toed boots, and black gloves. His right glove has a shell attached to the back which houses his copy of the Azure Grimoir.

Personality: Ragna goes through life with an "I do what I want" attitude. He is fixated on destroying NOL and wanders from town to town destroying any trace of them he can find. He is notoriously brash, rude, and ill-tempered. Despite the price on his head, Ragna does not seem to have any fear of being recognized. In the past he had a deep love for both is brother Jin and his sister Saya but following his sister's death and Jin's descent into madness, that bond has been broken. Ragna does have a certain respect for Jubei, his former master.

Weaponry: The Blood-Scythe - a large broadsword with a black hilt, silver edge, and red accents, this weapon has the ability to drain the life from it's victims with each strike adding that vitality to the user. It has the ability to transform into a large scythe as befitting it's name allowing for a greater absorbtion rate. What few people know is that the blade is actually a gunsword, while it cannot fire any projectiles, the vibration from it's firing allows it to immediately shake itself free from an enemy it may be stuck in. This ability can also increase the speed of a swing somewhat.

Abilities: Outside of the great strength and speed his half-vampire nature grants him, Ragna is an exceptional swordsman and all around close combat specialist. Ragna is hunted for his possession of the Azure Grimoir, which allows him to enter a more powerful form known as Blood Kain where he is surrounded by a veil of dark energy. His offensive abilities recieve a massive boost but at the cost of his health. As the body of the Black Beast, Ragna is able to summon small pieces of it in combat such as teeth, claws, and a wing.

History: When he was young, Ragna lived in a church with his younger siblings Jin and Saya, and was watched over by the sister of one of the Six Heroes. At some point, Saya became very ill and Ragna decided to look after her, and in turn spending less time with his brother. Jin eventually grew jealous of Saya for being able to spend a lot of time with Ragna, and he begun to hate her.

Soon after Saya became sick, the church was burnt down by Jin and Terumi Yuuki, who also cut off one of Ragna's arms and kidnapped Saya. The trauma of the event turned Ragna's previously blonde-hair white. At some point, Ragna was bitten by a vampire, which turned his right eye red (causing him to become heterochromic. He was also seemingly trained by Jubei of the Six Heroes for a while before setting out on his quest to destroy the NOL.

He was hounded by the Murakumo Unit Nu in an attempt to bond with him and restart the cycle of the Black Beast's rampage as well as hunted by his brother Jin Kisaragi. Ragna was able to defeat his brother and was saved from Nu by Noel Vermillion who he allowed to travel with him upon learning she was a target for assassination by the NOL. They were eventually seperated and Ragna learned Noel had been kidnapped by the insideous Hazama for his secret plans. Ragna has set out to hunt down Hazama and stop his machinations whatever they may be.
