Having a Good Time (anyone welcome)

Here she was! Entering from above the clouds. Not restricted by airships, nor their tickets, yet endangered by radars and heat-seeking anti-air missles as she was some kind of a UFO, she crashed down onto the city on her broom...
"Woohooo, there it is! That fancy looking house I saw from up above! It gets closer and closer, pretty amazing how stuff is reacting and coming towards one, when you like it!"
That was the reasoning of the witch. She wasn't going to places, places were coming to her. And there it was. The fancy colored circus building she was so amazed of. She just had to ignore the defense systems of the 13th Hirarchical City, risking to be an illegal immigrant and/or threat.
What would she find here? Maybe the long-awaited book she was searching for?

Jubei had been right to expect trouble on the way here, knowing that his student's life was in danger, he moved carefully through the parting crowds and remained hidden amongst the ends; speed was never a problem for Jubei, he could strike hard and fast, but was keeping a direct glare on the two homunculi that were supposed to be supporting this werewolf. He could have moved on her in an instant, but trusted Jin to defend himself; he knew that as a combatant, Jin would be fine...so he kept watch on the other two; while deciding whether to strike the homunculi at once. "I reckon that its about to get serious, those two varmints won't be allowed to move...I gotta trust in Jin's skill. Otherwise he'll never be as strong as he wants." this simple factor kept him from jumping into action right away.

While he hid in the crowd, one shout caught his ears. Dammit, she's fast to find people! He didn't have time for a second thought, because her fast strike forced him to crouch instinctlvely, dodging the attack in the process. Happily, the little space he gained hadn't been recovered by the things she brought along, so it was one-on-one up to now. And that was a winning situation for him since the surprise attack had been thwarted.
"I don't know why in the world you'd try getting that far for me, but if you're so intended to stay in my way, it can only mean one thing. You're prepared -and willing - to die by my hand." That said, Jin took Yukianesa in his hands, and fired an icy blade at Jeanne. "Hishoken!" He had made sure not to kill innocents with that one, because the sole purpose of that sword was to distract the opponent to shout: "GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!"

Jeanne rolled out of the way, without touching the blade, but hopeing to kill some bystanders that happened to be behind her. It would help to blackmail the "Hero" of Ikaruga and justify her actions towards the public.
"Traitors must die, and if you aren`t a traitor, i don`t know what you are. And you got one important thing wrong..."
Jeanne stood back up, her muscles buldgeing and tearing at the restraining clothing over her skin. Her eyes flashed up red as she gripped the Kodachi hard enough to make it creak.
She held back the transformation, not wanting to be a foe to his blade when in animal form, but yet ripped her shirt away, allowing her arms to buldge up freely, only to relax again and crack her neck.
"YOU will die by MY hand, human."
A streak of genius came past her mind, and her fist slammed into the fire alarm button, causeing water sprinklers to spray thin rain all over the circus area while alarms howled.
For one, it would make the annoying bystanders go away... for another, it would restrict Kisaragi`s weapon, if he didn`t want the raindrops to stick to his blade and make it dense and heavy... or even freeze himself through the aura of the sword, or any other unpredictable consequences of useing his ice based attacks.
"No more tricks and Ars Magus. Its one on one now."

Barely lifting an eyebrow at his opponent's reaction, nor at the rain, Jin was ready to begin the battle against that enemy.
"You surely don't believe that puny rain will stop Yukianesa!", he said while unsheathing the sword, and in one swift wavy movement, cut in front of him. As the sword passed, the sound of those raindrops-turned-hailstones breaking was heard. "You can never stop that sword from cutting you apart..."
Jin engaged the fight by dashing and aiming his sword in a circular quickdraw slash at her face, intended to draw some scar on it."... like those two you tried to cover your butt with."

"Huh? Now something awkward happened."
Millenia couldn't do anything but wonder what was going on all of a sudden. There was some ruckus down at the funny colored building. People came running out of it while a strange kind of eerie noise could be heard everywhere.
"Ah, did they start another attack at this witch's awesome newcomer entrance? I should better hide, before they want some extra performance!"
Saying so she aimed straight for the unusual building below. Shooting down like a star she swiftly came closer to the surface.... but she didn't break or change directions! The roof came closer and closer and with a loud "Nyohohohooo~!" and ugly crashing sounds the mysterious woman entered the building in an unusual fashion! Supporting beams were breaking, floors collapsed slightly.. but on the other hand it made the witch halt pretty fast. Last but not least she crashed straight through the roof where some big event apparently took place. Yes, yes. It was exactly that room with the werewolf, cat-man with eye-patch and wannabe-handsome swordfighter. Millenia's landingpoint was not the very middle of the dispute though, she crashed into some distant corner without further notice...
"Here goes my stuntdouble carrier! I hope I have an insurance for this!"
A pile of buckets, brooms, cloths and out-sticking legs mumbled in a depressed fashion.

The circus wasn´t just soaked now, it was falling apart, thanks to Millenia`s efforts. Jeanne wouldn`t mind, she didn`t like the place anyway.
Jeanne wasn`t even aware of the rain turning ice, her mad rage was intense enough to make her forget the pain of getting hit by the hail.
Quick and in a fluid motion, she leaned back, letting the icy blade cut the air above her face, while she let herself drop to the ground, kicking hard at the arm that held the sword to begin with.
Yukianesa was a dangerous weapon, even to her kind, and it would have to be taken out of the equasion if she was to have any chances.
"I said no tricks and Armagus, you deaf mother fucker...!!" She growled, somewhat breathless from hitting the ground with her bare back.

Jin smirked. Making his opponent angry was a bit of a risky tactic, but it was pretty enjoyable seeing Jeanne angry. After all, taking attention away from the collapsing circus could win him some time, when it would fall.
"I don't give a crap about whatever you say. You're being a bug in my foot, one that must be squashed no matter what.", he said in answer to Jeanne. Jin was wary about the environment, since apparently the newcomer had caused some problem about the "rain" falling. Since there was no longer any sort of predictable falling pattern, any perturbation was to be taken into account.
Jin didn't take any offensive action, preferring playing with her a litle more and making a gesture for her to come at him...

Still struggling with herself for a little while, Aomi finally broke the brainwash, a shockwave emanating from her at this very moment, followed by her standing back up. Her forhead now glowed white all the time, giving away the fact that she was refining the seithr stacked in her head. Restlessly looking around, she was certainly not the same person as before. The people fleeing frustrated her: obviously noone was gonna fight with her, and she couldn't fight an ally, even in this state. Levitating around as fast as she could to pick a fight, but only having refusals, she was already about to get pissed...

Jeanne growled loudly and jumped back on her feet, stareing at Jin with a hatred and rage. Still, even with all this rage, she wasn´t being completely unreasonable. It had to mean something that he wanted her to advance... in this case, probably not something she would like.
A quick glance around her enviroment made her focus one of the steel bars that held up the circus tent, nearby... a dash towards it, followed by a full forced kick made the double-T beam into a projectile, which was slow, but nearly impenetrable, especially to Ars Magus.
It wasn`t intended to hit him, instead, she ran after it, chaseing it closely... it was merely a shield to get close to Jin without risking to get struck by an attack head on.
As she got closer, she already readied her sword for a slash at his head...

As the Schwarzvald's Reach retracted back to his sides, the Homunculus was certain for the reason why, as he turned to changed Aomi; he noted her suddenly erratic behavior. Was this what happened when she changed? She appeared to be searching for something, while he hadn't the time to analyze, it had not much mattered; he chose instead to address Aomi directly, as with both the Xanthos Battle Shroud engaged an the Reach active; should anything happen he could respond as quickly as he might manage.

"Aomi, are you well? How are your systems currently functioning." his body responded quickly, going off of his sensory input and the aggressive actions taken; the Xanthos Paradom Unit prepared to boost backwards with a flare of Xanthos energy, somehow he didn't think that it would remain so peaceable.

Jin Kisaragi, studying his opponent's movements, decided to take it way more easily than Jeanne. In other words, "keep his cool". He always won his battles that way, and he'd need extra caution with that one. Avoiding the trajectory of the wannabe-projectile, he tried a quick sword attack. That rain is really a pain, and I'm not in the mood for laughing at puns when I don't know when I can try and do stuff. That sword strike was the only thing he could do in those crappy conditions.
As he thought a bit, he heard Yukianesa's voice in his head, whispering him to kill, inspiring him to grow bloodthirsty and destructive... Not bad a story, but now I'm done with being stupid. I'm done with believing those lies. My own power is the real deal, not a puny excuse for power you can give me...

Aomi restlessly looked around, completely ignoring E'thale's question as she didn't register it: she was too active to receive any information. Her sensors indicated quite a few individuals: Jeanne battling with Jin, excluded from battle as she was still resentful about Jeanne and didn't know if she wanted her fellow NOL member to win, E'thale, out of the question since he watched after her, Millenia, somewhere a bit further, but she wouldn't get to that one because of her strange behaviour... and Jubei.

The One-Eyed Lotus stood out as the ideal target for her, as she ignored the fact that he was too powerful for her: she could try after all, and a mission is a mission, she had been summoned once to help battle him, and this certainly wouldn't be the last time, with the fight she was gonna pick up now, as she brutally changed her direction towards the cat beastkin known as the most powerful creature of the universe. "Yahahaha!!! Let's fight, beast!" She rushed to him at a surprising speed, covering herself with energy finger slash waves.

As Jubei had been watching the two homunculi in action, he had monitored the erratic behavior of the smaller unit which now engaged him! Without hesitation, his veteran honed skills allowed him to react without much trouble; the beastman took his time to roll out of the way of the initial attack cleanly; as he rose his response was drawing both blades of Musashi and pointing them at the smaller unit before making his move.

"I reckon you're hankerin' fer your own destruction. A shame really." the words weren't necessary to a crazed homunculus but he spoke them anyway. Having taken the turn, he moved towards her with great speed; wielding both blades with a single action in mind, to end the battle as quickly as it had begun. Naturally Jubei's senses were primed for his attacker, but his notice of the second homunculus did not falter; he would trust the fact that the other homunculus was still awaiting a response and aimed to end this smaller one in one cross slash. Even if he missed, it wouldn't deter him much; destroying another tool of NOL's was simply his duty now.

Jeanne used her prepared strike to parry Jin`s counterattack, crossing blades with him, trying to push him back. She had to admit, he was a formidable enemy, even when his unfair advantage was taken out of the equasion. She didn´t like the way she gained respect for him, being an NOL soldier, but regardless of her personal opinion, he might be more than she estimated.... or the NOL may be less than she expected, seeing how they dealt with Aomi.
A threatening creak came from above, the circus tent was slowly looseing structual integrity due to Millenia´s damage and the bar that Jeanne kicked off of it. This battle wouldn´t go on much longer, but the way she saw it, neither she nor Jin were ready to quit quite yet.
"Well, this adds an interesting aspect to this whole thing...." She muttered, peeking above, before breaking the bladelock and takeing shots at driveing him back with quick slices.

Studying the environment was taking Jin way too much attention to be able to do much else than block Jeanne's assault. It was way too problematic. Jin tried to place himself at a better position, so he could keep Jeanne in his sight while preparing to escape this mess that was a circus not so long ago. Trying to put his sword in such a furious enemy's attacks would only conduct to needless physical effort (sure, he had already dealt with physically strong persons such as Ragna before, but that always took him some force), so Jin just let her the illusion of taking advantage, dodging the quick slices while moving to where he had decided it.
At one point, he saw the last of it: he was back to the "wall", only inches from outside that mess... But there was a use to that wannabe border bettween inside and outside the Circus. Still taking no offensive action, Jin took his ground, holding his sword's sheath in one hand, and gripping it tight with the other, apparently ready to strike at any moment even though it was a ruse to have Jeanne believe he would try and trade blows with her.
"Alright, here it is...", he said to himself while preparing for any attack Jeanne could do.

Jeanne saw Jin`s defensive state as her chance, she rushed towards him, blade raised to try and take her chance.
However, fate had a different plan, as the creaking she heard before turned into a low growling noise. Metal splinters, bolts and screws fell down around them, along with smaller structures of metal... Jeanne halted for a second, then she felt the imminent sense of danger. Peering above, she could see how one of the massive support struts was leaning down towards them... Jin however didn´t move, believeing that Jeanne was about to strike.
Move it, you fool...!
Gritting her teeth, she did what was probably the dumbest thing she could do... reaching over to grab Jin and pull him over, just before the metal bar buried itself foot-deep into the sand beneath them.
But that wasn`t enough yet, a second bar, about as thick as the first, was already on its way down. No time to run away, all Jeanne could do was push Jin to the ground and stay on top, catching the metal bar with her bare back.
A smack followed, and a numbing pain, but the force of impact was reduced to a mere touchdown on Jin´s body.
For a second, she was unable to speak, then the bar slid off of her back, leaveing a bright red mark where it hit.
"Gh... Guhh... Damnit..."

Within seconds, his simulated attention about Jeanne had become real and as much as he was ready for her, he noticed the raining metal parts later than her, almost too late to protect himself. Despite knowing it maybe was a mistake, he let himself be dragged out of the first falling bar's way. However, the second bar fell, and Jeanne didn't pick the safest option, pushing him down to the ground.
"Dammit, you..."
Jeanne took the second bar in her back. How ironic: one second before the bars were falling, she was all I'll kill you and now she was trying to save him.
"What the hell were you thinking?", he said while carrying her on his shoulder and slashing his way out of this silly-looking hell. Good thing the outside was close, so they both were safe from harm in a minute. Once on the street, Jin dropped his opponent to the ground. He turned his back to her while just having his head bent so she could get he talked to her. "You're in no fit form to fight, and happily for you I have qualms about killing you now. I'm letting you time to say some last words; for if you stand in my way one more time, you know what awaits for you..."

Jeanne growled, then rolled over, getting back up. Her back felt like it was twisted out of shape, but it was merely a bit red. Groaning lightly, she cracked her neck, and looked over at Kisaragi.
"Thats an intersting way to say 'thank you'. Usually people a bit more grateful if i save them from being bisected by a ton of metal."
Jeanne found herself still holding her short sword, but put it away, trying to control her anger.
"You fought formidable, like you have a goal that absolutly needs to suceed. I`ll let you live, then... the others will keep fighting you in my place."

Jin let out a slight sigh at her words. It felt strange to talk to an enemy like that... but she helped him out of trouble. "Honestly, you've been trying to kill me for pretty much all I've seen you so far... You don't expect the Librarium's puny forms of politeness from me, do you?", he said in his cooler tone. "Talking about those 'others'... Stay there too long and you won't see them the way they are as you remember them..."
He ran away from Jeanne, trying to find Tsubaki in this mess of a circus he had left her in. Damnit, now I gotta find another safe place where I can have her away from everything... That was some big trouble.

Aomi's attack was avoided by Jubei, but the homunculus didn't even stop levitating at her speed, so Jubei's cross slash attack was irrelevant as she ran right through te wall head first, the contact causing a little explosion and letting a hole in the wall.
Standing seconds after just within the hole she just made, Aomi laughed creepily and concentrated her refined seithr for a second before unleashing a one-meter-radius laser beam, the same that she had used against Hakumen, except this time she didn't have had to take so much time to focus due to the brainwash being no longer efficient. Should the most powerful person avoid the laser, the building would crumble for sure, but there was no way this could be blocked without risking burn damage (note: this is due to her Drive, of course), and Aomi would not stop to fire it if it is blocked, making this a hard situation to face.

As the elder hero spied the oversized laser of seithr, he wasted no time in moving out of the path of the great blast; was this homunculus entirely insane? He seemed to start thinking so, she had no thought of her comrades and had simply become a danger to both herself and her allies; this was no time to allow this fight to go on. "Well I reckon I gotta end this quick, this girl's plum insane." though at the moment even with the thought process he had, this was easier said than done in this instance.

Getting space between him and the laser, he easily kept ahead of its path while plotting his next course of action.

As E'thale quickly contemplated what was going on for the wiser, he snapped into motion; basing the decision upon her erratic actions, the elder homunculus moved up behind her base as he immediately entangled her with the spiny claw-hands of the Schwarzvald's reach and erected a xanthos energy tangle about them; it was the best that he could manage. Given his being outclassed and older design, he felt that he might be able to restrain her for a time; hoping to have disabled her ultimately it would come down to how many lumps he could take.

"Omoikane Unit, it is based upon the decision of Xanthos Paradom Unit to ensure the safety of the commanding officer, Jeanne Talbot. per NOL ruling description of supporting the pursuing officer; termination of her life is not an option. Surrender Omoikane Unit, Aomi." the words were simply the basis for telling her of his actions, not that she'd really care, but his reasonings were code and of course might at least allow him to be updated after the pummeling he'd be taking in this bout.

Aomi had stopped firing her laser when seeing Jubei escaped it, and found her in no time restrained by the homunculus that had been supporting her the entire time. Her tone filled with madness, she shouted at him: "So you are restraining me? What she deemed a betrayal she was about to remedy quickly by making high amounts of energy burst around her, harming everything that could be around her, the main purpose was to break her free from E'thale's claws as soon as possible. Jeanne's fate she couldn't care less about, and E'thale for now was in the list of her enemies.

"Woah... what just happened?"
Millenia was confused. What was going on? She managed to get herself out of the troublesome pile of trash she landet in. A little creature conveniently popped out just under her pushing her out of the mess. Now she sat there in a mediative manner... on top of the hands of the little fellow. It was a small armored guy, the only thing visible of his face was a pair of glowing yellow eyes. Millenia had crossed her arms watching the whole situation. The building was crumbling, people were fighting. Where on earth did she crash in?
"Ah. So it is."
A sparkle of light... a laser came flying in. The witch made gib eyes as it just grazed the edge of her enormous hat. The cloth imidately started to burn. Still, that woman was staring at the spot without doing anything.
"Not the safest place to idle-
"-was what you thought I was thinking about, heh? Not a chance."
"Although I really don't like this place. It is far too simple... look at how easily it falls apart! Hyakkihei... get me out of here."
The little fellow started to walk into a random direction. He had a hard time, Millenia was just sitting on top of him doing nothing. She bent dangerously into several directions alsmost falling of from him but somehow managed to keep her cool. They got near an exit (or whatever Millenia or her companion interpreted as one). Sadly they didn't get out of the building, just another room.
"Hmmm... so there are still people here? Funny, thinking of how actually averagely ones would panic around by now!"
Under the remaining peole was a woman with red hair (yes Tsubaki, as long as nobody has a problem with that!). She wore fancy clothes... at least she stood out of a crowd of ordinary people, so to say.
"...Oi, get that girl as well, will ya? She looks lost, we will be going now."
The little creature underneath Millenia started to walk faster into the direction of the woman. Lifting his master onto one hand he grabbed the woman with his other one carrying her on top as well!
"Good day to you! You may find it irritating getting abducted like that- or so you will be thinking about this little confusing action I chose to come up with - but we merely want to leave this shady place... I do have to admit that I suck at directions, nyeheh! Just.. get us out of here?"
Thus the three were escaping the collapsing building....
