Saucy Love vs. Mysterious Mystery [[open to all]]

Bang stood atop a tall wooden pole in the center of a forest clearing. He remained perfectly balanced on one foot while he hastily scribbled something down on a small notepad. Scattered around the 15 foot high pole were various wooden training dummies and other training implements. Ever since Ikaruga had been decimated, this small area near Ronin Gai had become his training ground. At the moment he was occupied with creating a new speech to announce his arrival.

"By the wavy...no, by the fuzzy...no...by the bushy? Yes that's good! By the bushy beard of Odin I descend upon you! Oh I like that!" Bang said happily writing down the drawn out introduction.

Jin sat down on the grass, along one of the outer rims of the forest clearing. The sun was behind him, so the trees cast nice shade over his fully dressed self. Making him the epitome of comfortable. Why, if he was somewhere near as simple minded as Bang, he would probably try to catch a nap.

Wait, speaking of Bang....

Jin heard his gruff voice, something not from memory. This was more babbling.

Silently, Jin stood up, grasping his Yukainesa, approaching the pole that Bang had balance on.

Then, within an instant, he struck the pole with the sharp blade, slicing it down, in an attempt to throw him off balance... And shut him up.

Bang was just put the finishing touches on his newest battlecry when an abrupt shock travelled up the pole and into his foot. He raised an eyebrow and looked down curiously just in time to see the base of the pole give way. A bead of sweat appeared on the ninja's forehead as all thought of balance was lost to the wind. This...could be a problem.. he thought before suddenly falling towards the man standing below with blade drawn. A loud yell erupted from bang's lungs as he flailed in midair, careening face first towards the man in blue.

Jin spun his hand around, re-sheathing his Yukainesa. Then he sidestepped out of the way of the falling "ninja". He looked to his left, as to not watch him fall on the ground, but he did look right after he fell. Even though it was quite funny, Jin's expression did not change.

His lips cracked, only to say.

"Now leave, you impediment."

Bang slammed face first into the hard earth, leaving a vaguely man-shaped imprint in the ground. His head shifted slightly as he attempted to speak only for the soil to muffle the words into incoherentcy. Without warning, the Ikaruga survivor sprang upward in a flurry of pebbles and dirt. He launched a powerful spinning uppercut directly at Jin's chin aiming to take advantage of his opponent's suprise any way he could. SHORYUKEN!!! Bang hollered, smiling broadly, a tiny twinkle appearing on his white teeth.

OOC: I'm gonna try to put a reference to a different anime/game in each Bang post. Spot them all and get a prize. XD

Jin stepped back from his opponent again, seeing as Bang failed to look before he threw his first punch. Of course, this was more than enough for Jin to grow displeased, and when Jin was displeased, he kills. In a quick pace, Jin pulled the sword from its sheath, twirling it in his hand.

"Die."

Jin charged, using his ice car capability, riding an ice blade directly to Bangs torso.

Bang twirled through the air in a graceful circle before landing softly. Though he hadn't made contact, at least he had looked really cool doing it. That had to count for something. Brushing the tip of his nose, Bang sent Jin a thumbs up before standing tall with his hands on his hips. "Don't think I've forgotten about you Jin Kisa---YIKES!!!" Bang's speech was cut off midway through as he noticed Jin bearing down on him. The Ikaruga ninja leapt straight into the air and went into a full split allowing Jin to pass underneath him harmlessly. Using his powerful abdominal muscles, Bang twisted in midair to face Kisaragi while maintaining the split.

Bang landed with a slight grunt in that awkward position and fought back the tears welling up in his eyes. That..really....really...hurt. he thought before returning to his feet and taking a combat stance. "As I was saying, I, BANG SHISHIGAMI, have not forgotten or forgiven you for your crimes Jin Kisaragi. The blood of Ikaruga stains your hands and mark my words, I shall scrub them clean with my passionate efforts!" Bang stood there for a moment before realizing how little sense that made. "That means I'm going to beat you up by the way." he added quickly to clarify.

Jin dropped the ice car ability the moment Bang had jumped free from the path of the ice-car. His hand wrapped around his blades hilt, gripping it firmly. Finally, finally Jin was going to end the life of Bang, as he did to his mentor. All those years ago, at the Ikaruga civil war.

Jin dropped to a defensive stance, and through gritted teeth, he spoke, with the words dark, and slithering from his tongue like a snake: "I'll end you like I did your mentor... Certainly you haven't forgotten, Bang. Those times in Ikaruga... When I finally put an end to your mentor, and I was appointed a hero.."

Jin charged to Bang, unleashing a flurry of Diagonal, horizontal, verticle slashes, each with enough force to tear through his body.

Bang leapt backwards to gain much needed distance from himself and Jin, narrowly avoiding the swordsman's assault. One stroke came close enough to create a large gash in his hakama and draw blood from his thigh. The ninja steeled himself, his vambraces sliding forward to form gauntlets over his fists. He reached into his back pocket and drew forth several small nails. Without further adu, Bang hurled them at Jin and watched as they spread out revealing a large net connected to them. Not content with just trapping the former NOL lapdog, Bang surged forward into a flying sidekick aimed at Jin's midsection.

"Ikaruga Style Technique: LEEROY JENKINS!!!!!!!"

Jin jumped, his fall stopped by an ice-car formed by the Yukainesa. He plowed directly through the net, as if it was nothing. The ice car also twirled, sucking up the net at the front of the ice car.

However, these efforts quelled his ability to see the kick, which abruptly knocked him off his blade attack. But the kick startled a reaction, which was a heavy horizontal strike at the assailants midsection.

Jin struck the ground, but sprang right back up and threw one leg out, attempting a roundhouse kick at Bangs face.

Bang smirked in satisfaction as his kick connected, the net having done it's job well. However, the ninja had little time to savor that fact before Jin retaliated, his katana swooping in, thirsting for his blood. Bang pushed off Jin's chest with his free leg, narrowly avoiding the swipe which merely scratched across his pectoral muscles rather than cleave him in two. Unlike Jin, Bang landed rather gracefully taking a wide stance, fists resting on his hips. A hearty laugh rang out from the Ikaruga survivor.

"Bwahahahaha! You'll have to do better than that Kisar--ACK!" Bang was interrupted yet again when Jin's roundhouse struck him full in the face throwing him to the ground.

He slowly dragged himself to his feet, struggling a bit to catch his breath. With a final deep breath, Bang was back to his boisterous self. "You know the difference in you and me Kisaragi? It's the eye of the tiger, the will of the fight which rises up to face the challenge of my rivals." With a dynamic swipe of his arm, Bang hurled a smoke bomb at his feet and vanished into thin air. In reality, Bang had merely used the cloud cover to leap high into the air, well over Jin's head. Taking the giant nail from his back, Bang dove towards his rival like a missle. "HEARTS ON FIRE!!!!"

Jins lips curled to a malevolent grin as his boot met forcefully with Bangs face. His grin cracked a laugh, with his insane sounding voice. Giving it that really, really creepy tone. Once Kisaragi assessed the amount of damage he did. He frowned, not quite satisfied.

He evened himself back out. Preparing for another swordsman assault before Bang ran back, like a coward. Then disappeared in a puff of smoke.

Kisaragi looked around, but only when he looked up did something catch his eye. It was Bang, travelling down at a great momentum with what appeared to be a large nail. This gave Jin mere moments to react, but from his battle-hardening, he remained calm and devised a plan by the seat of his pants.

Quickly, Jin formed an ice-car maneuver, but the Ice-car travelled vertically, not horizontally. It travelled up, towards Bang and his nail, with Jin attached.

He held his sword out forward, attempting to impale Bang as if he was jousting.

Wind rushed past Bang's face as he and his oversized nail hurtled downward at Kisaragi. He raised an eyebrow as Jin created another of his "ice cars" and rocketed skywards to meet him. Bang grinned, if it was a game of chicken Kisaragi wanted, it was a game of chicken he would get. With keen eyes the warrior of love and justice tracked Jin's sword movement, leaping to the former NOL's left side at the last possible second. Though Bang was no longer riding it, his nail continued on shattering the ice-car in a shower of frosty shards. The distraction did not go wasted, as Bang latched onto Jin in a bearhug from behind and locked his own wrists together.

With a heave of effort, Bang shifted both of them in midair so that they were falling back to earth headfirst. Another flex of his powerful abdominal muscles caused Bang and his opponent to begin a high speed spin as they fell. Fighting against the disorienting nature of his own attack, Bang shouted above the whistling air as the ground quickly drew near. "Taste the fruits of my efforts...Ikaruga Style: PRIMARY LOTUS!!!"

Jin found himself dumbfounded as Bang continued careening towards him. He was almost certain that Bang would chicken out in only moments; however, that was not the case.

Well, Bang had even gone so far as to obliterate his Ice-car movement, and grab Jin, then bring him down, twirling, head-on to the ground.

Jin wiggled his torso in an attempt to get free as the pair fell out of the sky like bombs. Then, in a quick reaction, Jin used the ice power from his Nox to make Bangs arms a little more than comfortably numb. Allowing Jin to slip out and dampen his fall with another ice-car. He straddled his ice car and chased Bang as he plummetted to the ground.

Jin was just going to impale him as he crashed.
