Trouble at the Sector Seven Entrance Empty Trouble at the Sector Seven Entrance

Post by Rho Digamma Thu Jun 09, 2011 4:05 pm

"Tch...this is the famed Sector Seven, what a flashy set-up." the annoyance quite clear in the voice of the cyborg as he eyed the bunker, attempting use of his obsolete scanning visuals to identify the bunker or scan the inside of its contents, he found the effort to be a moot point.

"State of the art? Yeah ancient times aside, guess I'll have to knock and see who's home." the bitterness clearly evident in his tone, the eagerness to attack this zone of technology was growing inside of him like a recently lit candle. Stepping into the prohibited zone unwarranted he stomped his right heel into the ground, cracking some of it beneath his foot; waiting to be noticed.

"Let's see what kind of sensors they're packing...", his words obviously fit with the knowledge that any intruder such as him would be found shortly, the thing was that he wanted to be found. Finally the first chance to take a crack at one of these new zones that he had been hearing about from the populace. Good, bad, neutral, or just plain existing; it all had to be destroyed in his eyes.

He would take the world down a few notches no matter what it took, he found this to be a perk of hating every damn thing now...what was there to like? Not a Damned thing in his mind.

Alpha was just minding her own business right now, building a few models... when her senses tore her out of standby. All alarms went off in the building, and her subroutines screamed at her to move.
All pieces and tools were left as they were as she hurried down the hall, her Murakumo sword was summoned as fast as she could make it... then, she had a nice HUD view and could decide what to do.

It seemed to be a single intruder, the motives were unclear, but he was definately up to something. Not human, either. He might pick a fight with them just because.

"Automated turret guns going online. Auto tracking engaged."

In the front lawn, two rather portable looking gatling guns came out of the ground, ammunition belts reaching into the ground as they took aim at Rho.
A split second later, the barrels spun up and fired at him.

"Alright! Let's play a little! his reactions snapped into action as he was hit by the first few rounds, the cyborg quickly raced to the right, to avoid the range of fire so he could return the favor.

Within a matter of moments, the strange Phase-gauntlets worn by the cyborg had gained sight of a green hue, growing with the power of crude plasma fusion through the use of his body's actions: in this case the running was the perfect fuel. Taking a moment to target the first gun, Rho activated both of his gauntlets, making use of the momentum he'd had to move into a slide; to focus on his aim.

"First you see one, now...you don't!" these words spoken once he was sure that he was aiming for the turret to the right, from the gauntlet on his right first; a quick ball of plasma was launched towards the target. He decided to approach this in a simple manner: get rid of one and then the other.

He wanted to play with some real fighters, since auto-guns were pretty standard and reminded him more of himself; crude and outdated when it came down to ingenuity.

The first gun was taken down, but the second aimed at his back now, continously fireing without an end. Gatlings didn´t need to cool down thanks to thier multiple barrels, and Sector Seven had a LOT of ammunition to spare.
Meanwhile, Alpha`s activated Murakumo hovered towards the entrance, locking doors and safety grids behind her to prevent the intruder from getting anywhere. The only thing he would get was Alpha herself.

"Secondary turret offline. Activate laser tripwires."

Within the entrance, several smartbombs activated, all of which were laser triggered. If one would go off, the entire entrance would come down and seal it off permenantly. Sector Seven might be paranoid, but thier tools worked the way they should....
Still, Alpha hurried her way to prevent any further damage, getting closer to Rho by the minute.

"Well I'll be damned, what a well protected place." this line spoken without sarcasm did seem to reflect he respect that had suddenly shot up for a place of this nature. As it wasn't something he'd expect initially, but of course with the impact of bullets on his back, the constant shots hitting the armored bodysuit he wore; he was quick to snap back and dart forward to evade the well aimed shots.

Rho's irritation with this second gun was growing tremendously, as he angled his body to finally avoid the rounds aimed for him. He'd have to thank the nanites later for making him somewhat bullet-proof. It didn't last for long under constant fire, but it gave an illusion that he took no damage; even though right now the nanites were filling his mind with images of the damage and how long it would take to repair.

"Whoa whoa guys! Save it alright?! Now Aim...and Fire!" within this moment it took to home in on the second turret; he released a larger ball of plasma, this one seeming to be full of his rage at the little machine. Mounting anger at a machine doing its job, that was really mature...or really made a lot of sense right?

His grin soon followed once he saw the orb was on target, with a shot this big he couldn't miss right? That was the thought he'd taken.

"Secondary turret offline. Modernate damage to feed systems."

Alpha`s words echoed through the hall she was hovering through, which was already filled with tripwires. She was getting close, really close. The smell of burning metal was in her nose as well as the scent of hot plasma and burnt gunpowder. The immense rattleing noise had settled down, now dead silence had taken over...
Finally, she came out of the entrance, stopping directly after the bombs.

"Intruder. This area is off limits. Remove yourself this instant or you will be terminated."

"Finally! You guys finally heard a knock, its only polite to send someone to answer the door. So, are we gonna play or what? his words made one thing clear, and that was that he had no intentions of leaving here without a fight. Was he even sure that he could win? Well no of course, it wasn't the point in his mind; with so much boiling blood within his cyborg body he had to act on it...wanted to act on it.

Preparing himself for the conflict that he was insighting, both gauntlets catching a soft green hue as his body seemed aching for the battle. He could smell it on the air, this being...whatever she was certainly would be hitting a lot harder than some bullets and he was aching for it. This was the thrill he often enjoyed and she'd provide for him, life and death was it for him; his mission was an impossible one and he'd enjoy every damned minute of it.

"Come on pretty lady, Let's boogey! ladies first, so make it count." this wasn't a taunt, it was perhaps a remains of his original mannerisms, twisted by this bountiful bitterness that filled his actions.

Alpha didn`t even flinch, she just analyzed his behavior and waited.

"Subject is not complying. Activateing Termination Protocol."

With that, she raised her left leg, fireing a bolt of blue plasma at his chest, quickly followed by her left and right arm, which were both aimed at his legs to try and incapitate him quickly. Alpha´s attacks were limited as it seems, the metal body he posessed would be tough to penetrate with her swords, so she had to make a breach first.
And what better way was there with some cold fusion plasma? Her target scanners continued to analyze him, though, trying to see if he was going to counter attack.
If so, she would probably have to dodge fast...

"Now that's what I'm talking about! Way to bring it home!" his response was quick to the plasma, while his reactions weren't the fasted, with his arms so close to his chest it was possible to bring the phase gauntlets together in time to block the bolt of plasma aimed for his chest.

The force shot him back in tracks, grinding up the earth beneath his feet as he eyed the blades aimed for his knees, it was too late now to dodge them but he had one emergency from his body's epicenter. He wasted no time with it and called to his Ars Magus weapon for aid.

"Ars Magus: Happa Banryoku[Explosive Blast Brute Force], Activate!" this said within moments of the blades of plasma striking at his either of his legs, here with enough force that despite the explosion of his energy from his body canceling the blades for the most part; they had still grazed him slightly.

Despite not showing it, he had taken some damage from the initial move. It impressed him at her speed, she certainly moved fast didn't she? But now it was his turn, with his use of the Ars Magus, he knew his body had already taken some light damage...so he'd have to get a little creative with this.

"Try this on for size! Plasma....Forward!" this was a modified version of his plasma release, to point firing the bolt of plasma into the ground and sending a ripping wave of earth and some weakened remains of the plasma in her direction.

"Danger. Evacuate the location."

Alpha could not believe this stupidity, but moved out of the way as fast as she could, some burning hot plasma letting the blade of on her left leg grow red hot... but what really concerned her was the bolt of energy travelling through the ground. She stood right before the entrance, so it was entirely possible that-

With an earthshattering boom, the walls of the entrance collapsed as the smartbombs took the supporting frame away, burying the bunker under a pile of rubble.

"Primary objective failed. Continueing with secondary objective."

While she was prositive that nobody had been hurt inside, the damage was extensive in the entrance and digging out the bunker would take a while.
Feeling an emotion related to anger, she activated her drive as well.

"Triumph."

With both of her sword legs aimed for his chest, plasmatic rocket boosters propelled Alpha at the body of the cyborg with incredible speed, the sharp points of her swords would certainly penetrate his armor at this rate.

Well there was no time for smart mouthed words now, all he did was the dumbest thing that he could think he could; race forward to meet her while charging both gauntlets with more plasma. The best way he thought to deal with this? See who could take more damage. While he couldn't move fast enough to evade her, with the momentum of hers, meeting his own then the damage would be great on both ends.

"Never thought I'd ever play the ancient game of chicken!" he pushed his body forward, extending both of his knuckles, now lit with more of the plasma that his movements up till this point had been generating. Feeling the flesh of his body having taken a little weakness from the use of the Ars Magus; that same power that he was back building for the moment of impact.

"Let's do this! Ars Magus: Happa Banryoku, activate!" the ignition of the extra power burst from the Ars from within his body would certain open him up to more damage..while providing an extra kick of force to his double plasma charged fists aimed at her center. Sure...he'd take damage, but this was what he was here for; the destruction...the sheer sake of it.

Alpha realized the potential danger, unlike him, she was weakly armored and not designed to take a lot of abuse. She was made of flesh, not of steel.
As quickly as she could, she fired her own plasma balls at his gauntlets, trying to fight off the hot plasma with cold plasma... but in the end, it came down to the arm blades attached to her, ramming into his gauntlets at the same time as her legs crashed into his torso.
Electrictiy ran through her as she seemed to have hit a creamy center, before she fired up both of her leg mounted plasma cannons to get out of the steel body.
Her wrist blades were too weak to cope with the strength of the impact though, as the gauntlets bent them out of shape and a burning sensation hit her chest, knocking her back and out of his body.

"Ouch." She responded as a good portion of her bodysuit was eaten away by the burning plasma as well as a good deal of her skin, although the tissue was being regenerated slowly by the nanites inside her body, the blades were useless now. No Nanobot helped when the blades weren`t actually broken off.

Minor damage recieved. Combat capability reduced to 96%. Armor status at 95% efficientcy.

Feeling the force of their impact upon him, he initially thought it wasn't so bad...that was at least until the plasma cannons piercing his flesh and shooting him into the earth. If hitting her wasn't hard enough, certainly the surprise that she was in one piece was to him. Didn't he charge his gauntlets with plasma? That was the last thought he'd had before trying to sum up the damage to his body.

"Now...that's what I call...some power...not too bad..." his cough was light, but as the nanites filled his mind with visuals of the damage he'd taken, the nanites warned him that such quick successive use of the Ars magus to both protect him first and then increase the impacting force he had was starting to take its toll.

A small voice of a nature seemed to speak out from the neck area of his body. "Warning...50% damage to the physical body, suggestions to disengage are given." the nanites spoke up loud enough to let his opponent know that he wasn't as hardy as he looked, since physically he didn't seem that damaged; at least in appearance.

"Way to go tingrins...letting the little lady know how damaged we are...tch. Oh well, so...what'll it be miss? It doesn't seem either of us are in shape, you gonna return for your repairs?" the grin spoke that he'd continue if she pressed it. Damaged or not, he could've cared less...the 50% meant that it would get worse and put him to critical if he persisted, but...he just might chance it if she would continue; the chance to play with someone this strong wasn't so often in his mind.

".... Subject surrenders. Analyzeing..."

Alpha entered a standby stage, still with her weapons powered up, but out of alert. Instead, a control panel appeared before her, displaying advanced options than what her HUD would show. One of which was selected before she extended her hand, the plasma cannon mounted on the arm emitting a beam of light instead which quickly rushed over his body, then back.

"Scanning completed. Subject incapitated. Saveing data for later reference."

With that said, she retracted her hand, only to have her eight floating blades point at him threateningly.

"Leave this area at once."

Whilest repairs would come in order, with the front of her bodysuit hanging down almost uselessly as her tissue was being repaired, she couldn´t enter the alternate route before he left. It was too dangerous to give off the secret entrance to the lab to strangers, especially those hostile to them.

"Well I've got a new place to play...that's good, I'll this place...and you in mind." his words of course were casual as he promptly turned from her, though the fact was that he had every intention to return when he'd repaired himself. Unless something else distracted him, he'd come seeking more trouble, after all what was the fun in boring peace?

Something about the battle had sated him inside, it still fueled the fire...but it allowed him to feel that he'd done enough for right now. "Initiating physical repair...retreat." the voice ruining his whole effect of walking away, with an annoyed sigh he started walking off, though looked over his shoulder.

"Remember the name, its Rho Digamma and I'll be back for this joint's fun...and you as well. Great battle, I enjoyed myself thoroughly." of course before there was another exchange here, Rho's body took off against his will, racing at full speed to find a place to settle down and heal; with each step putting great distance between himself and Sector Seven. The Cyborg now working to keep his route here to memory, he had one playing ground to visit...again.

Alpha didn´t respond anything to that, her mind was far more than just busy from the damage reports and calculateing the cost of them... as he had disappeared out of sight, she hovered over to one of the side entrances and deactivated the traps, moveing inside... in an instant, the doors closed behind her and the ones in front of her opened again, the alarms silenced, order came to the chaos.

"I must report those damages to Mistress Kokonoe.." Alpha said to herself as her armor deactivated itself... her bare feet made little noise on the floor as she headed for the cyborg lab, hopeing to find her there.
