Hazama/Terumi Complete

Appearance:
 In his current true form, Terumi is nothing more than a specter appearing as a vaguelly human shadow form. In this state his body is primarily black with green, vein-like accents and an eerie green eye along with an offputting red smile. In this regard, Terumi seems to blur the lines between cartoonish and nightmarish. While inhabiting his Kazuma shell, Terumi appears as any other man. Standing at about six in height and weighing 130 pounds, Hazama is a slender, unimposing caucasian man. His skin is free of any unsightly scars but is noticibly pale due to lack of exposure to direct sunlight. The little muscle tone he does have gives the appearance of a dancer rather than a fighter with a distinct emphasis on flexibility and speed rather then power. His hair is a striking shade of bright green and hangs down his forehead halfhazardly. It reaches just past his eye brows in front and just touches his collar in the back. It should be noted that in moments of great excitement or anger when he no longer has need to hide his true intentions, his hair stands straight up in defiance of gravity. His eyes are a menacing gold and in the aforementioned times of rage, dark circles have been known to appear beneath his eyes as if from a lack of sleep.  Most of the time however, they are kept tightly squinted to hide his snake-like eyes.  Overall, one could describe his features as aqueline and smooth, giving his face a rather slim and long shape all things considered. 

During the Dark War, Terumi wore robes more befitting a powerful master of necromancy and sorcery but upon adopting his disguise as Hazama, he has taken up a more pedestrian, though stylish, wardrobe. On his feet are brown leather dress shoes with a slighlty raised sole for extra height and good traction with a stainless steel plate over the toe to add a bit of muscle to his kicks. Covering his lower body is a pair of pressed and ironed black dress pants with a single crease and rolled ankle cuffs. On his upper body, Hazama always dresses in layers. The innermost layer is a simple white dress shirt with a slim fit to match his slender figure and black buttons. Over this is a gold three buttoned black vest with a steep cut so that it closes over his stomach and leaves much of his chest bare. Lastly, he wears a black overcoat with split tails and faded gold buttons. Oddly enough, on each breast there is an additional belt hanging vertically which ensure the coat fits snugly arounf his shoulders for style's sake.

An avid collector of accessories, Hazama keeps several in his outfits at all times. The first is a pair of brown leather belts stit hed together and accented with stainless steel buckles. Hanging from these belts is a stylish silver chain which hangs over his right front pocket. Next is a polished wristwatch of austrian origin on his left wrist which is, predictably, stainless steel with silver accents. On his hands are brown leather gloves whose fingers have been removed to the knuckles. This means that Hazama's thumbs and fingers remain exposed and only his palm is covered. Around his neck is a black dress tie with a straight cut tip as opposed to the commonly pointed version. Lastly, while calm, Hazama constantly wears an expensive black fedora with a dark grey band. It should be noted he prefers boxer shorts and white socks.

Loyalty: 
Terumi is loyal to his own desires and interst however he has displayed loyalty and subserviant behavior in front of the Imperator Liberius and still functions as a member of the NOL

Personality: 
Terumi is an agent of chaos, a mad dog chasing after fleeting interests and wild desires without the slightest concern for those around him. Self-centered and self-serving, the needs and wants of others comes secondary to his own and they are more than expendable in his eyes. Overall, he has a distaste for authority and order in general however, while Sector 7 and Ragna are against it due to the NOL's totalitarian regime, Hazama is a proponent of wild destructive anarchy. A sly analyst of people, Terumi enjoys examing others and deciohering their thoughts and weaknesses out of a sick boredom. In fact, if he were asked he would readily admit to enjoying their pain making him a sadist through and through. Through it all, Terumi keeps up a perfect image of arrogant conceit and superiority vaguely covered by a mocking tone of humility and sarcasm.  Smaller aspects of his personality are a grudging responsibility as he sought to undo his own error in making the Black Beast and a hatred of cats to which he is allergic. 

Weaponry: Hazama wields the Nox Nyctores Ouroboros which consists of twin silver colored butterfly knives with curved blades and handles. The weapons themselves are razor sharp and forged through magic making them stronger than the most durable steel and capable of absorbing great vibration without causing the user injury. This feature allows Hazama to parry strikes from larger weapons such as Ragna's Blood-Scythe or the Okami without incident. However, the true powers of the Ouroboros are it's chains. With a simpke gesture, Hazama can summon forth infinite lengths of ebony and emerald chains composed of an otherwordly energy. At the end of each chain is a fearsome metalic hook resembling a snake which is used to grab hold of targets to throw, pull Hazama towards, or simply rip to bloody pieces. Incredibly, the hooks do not even need a corporeal target to latch onto as they can even grip the air itslef allowing Hazama to launch himself skyward.

Outside of direct combat, the Ouroboros has a secondary usage. When mastered, it's negative mental side effect can actually be transfered to others. This means that rather than have his memories consumed by the deadly chains, Hazama can devour the memories of others at a whim. This is how he was able to rewrite and blur the memories of Jin Kisaragi concerning the massacre of Caelica's church. However, the effect is not permenant and over time the subject can recover their memories depending on their will power. Should their will be strong enough they could resist the rewrite entirely from the begining.

Obviousely Ouroboros is a frightening weapon but as a show of caution, Hazama carries a large number of throwing knives on his person at all times. They are rather simple, yet razor sharp, throwing knives forged from carbon steel with polished double edges.

Abilities: 
Hazama is, by his admission and that other others, one of the most powerful individuals to walk the earth at the moment. With decades of experience under his belt, he possesses vast knowledge of the Boundary and the inner workings of Ars Magus along with the creation of Nox Nyctores. It was with this great knowledge that Hazama was able to create the BlazBlue, the most powerful Grimoir in the world. As the mastermind behind it, Hazama wields his own perfected copy of the BlazBlue which draws power from the Boundary to vastly augment his strength and speed. In addition to this, it generates a spherical field around his body which constantly drains the strength and vitality of those who enter. However, The field can only remain up so long as Hazama is focused and will temporarily disipate if he is injured. Along with the power of his own Grimoir, Hazama can deactivate other copies of the BlazBlue at will. The exception to this is Ragna the Bloodedge's copy as it has downloaded an Idea Engine and now stalemates Hazama's own.

Even without his Grimoir, Hazama is a fearsome combatant with deadly skill with edged weaponry. Wielding his knives with supreme speed and precison, he is more than capable of holding his own against high level swordsmen. Alongside his blade work, Hazama is a skilled acrobat, ducking and weaving circles around his foes with a dance-like flair and grace in a whirlwind of kicks. Part of this is a necessity as his body is not designed for brute force combat. It focuses of flexibility and high end reflexes to evade and divert rather than meet force head on. In truth, Hazama has no more physical power and any average man when not augmented by the Azure. Despite that his artificial body has extremely high stamina to help cope with his physically taxing dodges. Lastly, when not in his physical shell, Terumi's ghost form is nigh intangible and can only be harmed by magic or armagus level techniques.

History:
Terumi's history is cloaked in mystery but one thing is certain, he was a true pioneer and scholar.  Gifted with a brilliant and cunning mind, even in his earliest days he pushed the limits of human perspective as a scientific researcher.  Eventually his fame and skill grew to such reknown in the world community that when the first relics of a bygone era were uncovered, he was selected to lead the research team on the strange devices.  The pie e that truly caught his eye was a fantastic suit of armor that seemed to pulse with untold energy and was soon dubbed, Susanoo.  Blinded by ambition and lust for power, Terumi willingly entered the armor and bonded with it becoming it's first and most terrifying host of the modern era.  

Overcome with power, he disappeared from the face of the earth for years as humanity slowly came to grips with the extent of the new power they were dealing with.  While the sheep toyed with meager progression, Terumi made leaps and bounds until he finally drove his spirit fron the Susanoo armor upon realizing it's connection to the fabled Amaterasu unit.  Left a rogue wandering spirit, he searched lo g and hard for a suitable replacement body and eventually overcame some poor unfortunate soul.  It was here that Terumi's obsession with the Boundary and Amaterasu began.  Accidently realizing the repurcussions of the Master Unit's influence, he became set on destroying it but to do so he would need the power of the Boundary,

In order to gain such power, he began the creation of a new Grimoir. Ore powerful than any that had come before it, the Azure Grimoir.  However, his initial attempts to forge it went horribly wrong and the power mutated into a monstrosity known as the Black Beast.  The Beast sweapt across the planet brining untold devastation and in the ensuing chaos Terumi was once again left without a body.  In his desperation he sought aid from a like minded individual known as Relius Clover who agreed to aid Terumi in his quest and created an artificial human body known as Kazuma and spent several months  instructing him before depositing him in the newly formed Mages Academy.  It was then that Terumi first began appearing to the boy, whispering dark promises and temptations.  Hearing whispers of Terumi's presence and knowing of his hand in creating the Beast, the younger brother of Mitoyoshi (later known as Jubei) attempted to slay Kazuma to prevent Terumi's rebirth.

Unfortunately for the young cat, and humanity at large, Kazuma consented to the possession moments before he arrived and Terumi walked the earth once more.  Immedietly confronting the cat, Terumi killed him with relative ease using the power of Ouroboros.  Just as the cat fell dead, his older brother Mitoyoshi as well as the retainer of the illustrious Alucard family, Valkenhayn R. Hellsing arrived on the scene.  Faced with two opponents of comparable power to his own, Terumi was bested and forcibly sealed away to protect the world.

Sadly, he would not remain sealed for long.  As the Black Beast continued to rage across the planet, those who fought against it grew desperate and the great witch Nine took drastic measures.  Unleashing Terumi, she bound him through ancient and darkly powerful magic to assist in the struggles of the Heroes against the Beast.  Under the spells influence he fought alongside Hakumen and the others and with the heroic sacrifice of the Bloodedge, finally defeated the monster.

With the Black Beast's demise, Terumi was free and took immediate action for revenge.  Assailing a fatigued Nine, he cut her down in cold blood and bound her soul for future use as an ironic and sadistic punishment for her earlier control of him.  Next, he struck down Platinum the Trinity, sealing her spirit within her own Nox Nyctores so that she could forever watch his reign of chaos across the globe.  His master stroke was the elimination of Hakumen and Jubei, the strongest of the Heroes, in one move to seal them away in the Edge.  However, Hakumen was able to pull Terumi into the Edge along with himand Jubei escaped relatively unscathed.  For a while, the world was at peace.

That is until the intervention of Takamagahara.  In their quest to destroy Amaterasu they made the same mistake as Nine and tried to control the u controllable.  They freed Terumi from the Edge and he immediately went to work towards his own endgame.  Alligning with his old associate Relius Clover, Terumi sought out the younger sister of Nine, Caelica Mercury, who was caring for three very special orphans.  Twisting the mind ofthe middle child, who's fate he was well aware of, Terumi killed Caelica, crippled the oldest child, and stole the youngest.

That young child, Saya, would become the container for Nine's essence he had held onto for so long.  She would be the key to destroying Amaterasu once and for all.  And so he and Relius nurtured and raised her as a weapon, eventually installing her as the very head of the NOL with Terumi taking on a position as Captain under the alias Hazama.  From here he could be close at hand and shape things to his liking.  All according to plan, Ragna the Bloodedge and the 12th sample broke the cycle of events surrou dingthe Kagetsuchi cauldron and the pieces fell into place.

Getting Noel alone was easy enough and by destroying her limiter Bolverk he was able to successfully forge her into the Kusanagi Sword and draw the attention of all those wo could stop him.  Tjough Ragna defeated him in combat and saved Noel from his control, it was far too late.  In one shining moment he removed Takamagahara from existence and the Imperator destroyed the Master Unit as he had envisioned.  Everything was just as he wanted it.  A world of death everlasting and chaos abound, it was glorious and there was nothing anyone could do to stop him.

Standing before the green haired boy, Terumi grinned maliciously at his nervousness and quivering lower lip.  It was time, he was aboutto say it and no time too soon if the creature approaching was who he thought it was.  Finally, Kazuma opened his mouth and said the magic word...yes.  Instantly, his ghostly form disipated into a noxious cloud and set upon him. He entered through every possible route, his mouth, his nostrils, even his pores.  Terumi completely overtook him, body and soul.  In an instant, Kazuma was devoured  by the vengeful spirit.

Even as Kazuma writhed in pain, a cat clothed in an orange cloak burst through the doorway with two swords drawn.  His eyes fixed upon the horrible scene before him and he roared in fury.  "NO!" He wasted no time and lashed out his a blade clutched between his teeth in an attempt to sever the green head from the shoulders.  However, his blade found only thin air as the man danced to the side in a spinning display of evasion.  Standing almost chest to chest with the cat, Terumi was well within strking range and he smiled sinisterly at the feline.  "Little late there hero.  Oh well, try try again right?"  He quipped as a curved butterfly knife appeared in his palm. With frightening grace he sweapt through the cat's body, going through with a flourish to leave a gaping wound across the feline stomach before coming back with a decisive slash at his back. 

Cleaving through the cat's back, Terumi severed his spine paralyzing himfor whatever time he had left to live which would in all liklihood not be very long.  Stadning over the gasping cat, Terumi casually removed the cape from Kazuma's uniform and cleaned Ouroboros' blade before tossing it aside.  Staring at the crippled swordsman for a bit, he let out an mpressed whistle, evidently pleased with his own handiwork.  Before he could go any further,two more assailants appeared in the doorway, another cat and middleaged man in the garb of a butler.  Terumi had a decent idea as to their identities based more on reputation than anything else.  Despite that, he feigned familiarity to throw them off a bit.

"Hey there guys, fancy meeting you here. You wouldn'thappen to know my new fur rug would you?" he said while placing his foot on the younger brother's head which ilicited a groan of pain from the younger and a furious growl from Mitoyoshi himself.  "You get yer flithy hands off my brother ya damn devil!" he said in a slightly country accent.

For his part, Terumi only shrugged and shook his head in mock concern.  "Oooooooh, now I get it.  Little brother's tired of big brother getting all the attention and milk time with mom so he decides to have a big damn hero moment right?" he exclaimed, lowering his voice here and there to add heavy sarcasm and insult.  "Thing is...well, ya see I got this problem with heroes; and cats that matter.  I hate hate hate hate hate em.  Now imagine a hero that just so happens to want to be a hero and you guessed it, we got a problem." Taking note of the mounting venom i his words, Valkenhayn and Mitoyoshi stepped forward to try and stop what they knew was coming but it was already too late.  Terumi stomped downwards and crushed the younger cat's skull beneath his heel as if he were squishing a bug on the sidewalk.  It was a deafening crunch at left Mitoyoshi and Valjenhayn wide eyed and speechless at the sheer depths of Terumi's sadistic nature.  The silence was finally broken as the green haired rogue let out a chuckle and whiped grey matter and bone chips onto the now dead cat's back like it was a rug.  Scratching the back of his head, he smiled again with his eyes squinted tightly.  "Um.....oops?  Bahahahahahahaha!"

On a side note, should I be chosen I would like everyone to know that anyone with interest in the role of Relius Clover need only ask and I'll be willing to step down.
