Kisaragi's hideout. Empty Kisaragi's hideout.

Jin's hideout was that of an old 3 story factory. Once used to mass produce boxes, until they became obsolete by technology. Jin was able to keep himself stable, medically, by use of the plentiful First-Aid found on the first floor. First floor was where he kept his motorcycle collection, It once was the factory floor, now barren and empty, a massive, desolate space. Only graced by the motorcycles and their tires tread-marks for when Jin decided to take them for a rip. The motorcycles, were also, his only method of transportation now. Entrance is also facilitated to this floor by a massive factory door; however, it's only able to open from the inside, the outside buttons to activate the door no longer function.

The second floor was once management, it is now where Jin spends his nights. He sleeps in a futon at the CEO's office. Also, this is where he writes stories, or poems, to help maintain the shred of sanity he has left.

Third floor was storage for shipping, Jin only spent the time necessary there to board up the windows.

Jin rarely left the complex, and when he did, it was only for food or other supplies. He would change to leather jackets, and leather pants, and never, ever, remove his motorcycle helmet on the outside.

Unfortunately, the medical supplies were almost running dry, he was scraping the bottom of the barrel there.

He was going to have to relocate, and soon. Perhaps he'd have to ally himself with someone, someone shady. Someone who could keep silent about his identity, but administer medical assistance.

This old building is drawing a little too much electicity for an abandoned facilitiy... its not that important, sure, but its my job afterall.

Makoto had the typical noobie police officer morale inside her right now, thinking she would do nothing but justice, even if it would be cruel.
She didn´t even think this could be a hideout for someone like Ragna or Jin, not this close to the town itself...

The door was locked, naturally, but this wasn´t a problem for someone like her...
Takeing a few paces back, she dashed at it before kicking with both feet to bring the door down, landing on her side, but on the inside.

Quickly, she got back on her feet and started to search the area...

The crash coming from the door being forcefully knocked down startled Jin. Immediately, he dropped down prone. Thankfully, he still had his motorcycle gear on, including the helmet. He was on the second floor, so he crawled silently to the door leading the steps, getting back up and wall-pressing. Mentally preparing himself to take a quick snapshot with his mind. In his mind, he counted down.

"3, 2, 1. Go"

He quickly peered over, then re-hid himself on the wall.

She was somewhat familiar. One of those three he used to go to the academy with...

It must have been Makoto, with that distinctive chipmunk tail. That must mean it was an investigation.

He needed to find a way to stop her, and quickly.

NOL! Comply and come out quietly and you will not be harmed! She yelled throughout the building, drawing her Deus Ex almost immidiantly.
There was someone here, she had heard something after she crashed in.. the smell of fear was in the air, driven by the sudden loud noise and the yelling...
Makoto didn´t waste any time and just blew every door she found open with a shotgun shot, trying to find the person living here without being allowed to do so.

There´s someone here, but not where i am... further up, maybe.

Jin went back to prone, crawling silently back to his bedroom, where he nabbed his Yukainesa, and put it around his side by use of a belt. However, with each rippling shot though his complex 'caused him to grow angrier, and angrier.

She dares search for the man who wishes only to be left alone? Well, it was no matter. She would be incapacitated in a matter of moments. But how?

It was time to think of a tactic. He thought over several, but he knew that he still had the element of surprise, he knew that she didn't know who he was, or his position.

With that, Jin sighed, sitting down behind the desk of the CEO. Making a variety of tapping sounds on the desk before stopping and listening for incoming footsteps.

Following the tapping sounds with her animal ears, she almost felt wrong about this. There was an aura of a Nox Nyctores around the office...
This could be a trap of some sort..

But what hobo wields a Nox? I must be crazy.

Nevertheless, she kicked down the door to the CEO`s office, then rechambered her shotgun and fired a Quad-shot at the desk, shreddering it to bits with 32 lead balls tearing through its material.

Come out and put your hands above your head... if you still have them now...!

Jin curled up as she neared. If she was anything near as he remembered, she was going to run in gunning, without a second thought. His right hand slipped around his Nox's handle, the other on his sheath to hold it in place for when he drew his Nox.

Then, he heard the footsteps and calculated the time before she would bust through that office..

"2, 1. Mark."

Jin unsheathed his Nox, and like that, in the blink of an eye, he slashed downwards and the shotgun. Not strong enough to slice it in two. But more than strong enough to disrupt her aim for long enough for him to throw an incapacitating blow with his Nox, and surprise. Especially just after the four barreled fire.

"Cease your threats, Makoto. I have years of experience on you."

Makoto used the momentum to rechamber, slipping her thumb away from the handle to cock the gun, then jump over the swordsman´s shoulders to get a second of downtime, escapeing the range of his weapon.

Major Kisaragi...?! Everyone is looking for you, where the hell have you been? Tsubaki has been ordered to find you and take you home by force!

Her loud voice would probably upset him, but she was the one doing her job, not him.
Aiming her gun at him, she knew he wasn´t going to let this end without a fight. Not him.

Jin straightened his body out, then took a moment to remove his helmet. Tossing it aside carelessly, letting it crash against the laminated floor with a thud. Jin found himself amused, but not in the least surprised that Makoto could pull such a move... Even if it's effectiveness was very.. Slim.

"Makoto. You just cornered yourself..." He added dryly.

Jin smirked, twirling the Nox around in his hand, chuckling darkly and bowing his head, making a good portion of his face still shadowed.

"You're about to learn why you never get cornered in a fight with a swordsman"

With that, he aimed a heaving kick to her face, aiming to knock her down to the ground.

I cornered myself? I didn`t notice that.

Smileing, she grabbed his foot in midair, trapping it with her hand and applying tremendous force to nullifiying his attack..
It seemed easy, as if she didn´t even break a sweat.

Now here´s an advice from me, Major.. never bring a sword to a gunfight.

Her shotgun aimed up at his torso, then let loose a Single, trying to knock him down vice versa.

Autohit: " she grabbed his foot in midair,"

Jin may have had his leg twisted, but he just went with the twist and performed a flip, then landed on his feet with a grin. His training and experience may have far succeeded hers, but she was still standing, so that was something.

With that, he reacted by kicking up the remaining half section of the table to absorb the shot, then once the pellets struck the table, he stuck out his left hand, using the power from his Nox Nyctores to attempt to freeze the Dues Ex's inner workings. [So, springs, hammer, etc, were all frozen in place]

Trying to buy time, are you?

She replied, noticeing that the trigger was stuck in place as she had aimed another blow to fire it through the table.

Doesn´t matter..

Tilting the gun upwards she whacked the sword away, kicking the table back at Jin to make him retreat from her before trying to hit his face with the barrels of the weapon.

A typical swordsman move.. trying to disable the gun in order not to fight against it... but thats not the most ideal way to win when your attack only lasts for a minute or so..

Water was dripping from the gun as Makoto slowly itched the cocking lever downwards...

Jin simply struck his sword upwards, slicing the section of table right down the center with a straight, clean line. Both pieces fell to ground before they even came close to striking Jin.

"Shut your mouth, fiend! Before I remove your tongue!" He spoke, adding dark sadism to his tone.

Although his sword was struck to the side, his grip remained firm, and he regained the swords upwards stance as he sliced at her right thigh with the Nox, definitely thirsting for her blood, and gripped the Dues Ex with his free hand, using all his might to strike the side cylinders to attempt to knock it from her hands.

Despite being disarmed by his harsh and sudden grip, it was no problem for her to react in time to push his sword out of the way, useing her steel tipped boot... in fact, it was a good propellant to jump over him again.
Picking up the nearest heavy item, a double T bar which used to connect the cieling to the walls, she threw it at the swordsman, useing all her strength to lift and throw the heavy piece of steel.

Thats big talk for someone who`s running away only to meet Ragna the Bloodedge, someone he couldn`t possibly beat on his own!

It was indeed a foolish quest to seek and destroy Ragna alone, a man who the army of the NOL had problems with.

A blockade of ice formed in front of the T-bar, Only chipping the ice as the massive bar hit the ice. His feeling of hate swirled around as she spoke about his brother in such a way. How dare she even bring him up like that. It wasn't that he wanted to kill Ragna, in fact, he really, really didn't.

But he had to, he was going to be the black beast, and it was his destiny. A destiny that drove him insane.

"Shut up! Never speak of my brother again, you bitch! Or I'll kill you!"

Jin charged himself at Makoto, unleashing a series of strikes that were so fast and agile that they looked distorted, and left a cool blue back trace whenever he used his sword in an attack.

Hazama slowly stepped into the entrance of the old factory, drawn by the high levels of energy and previous gun-shots he'd heard. Being with the NOL, on-duty or not, he'd have to see what the hell was going on... if an officer saw him ignore it, it'd probably be brought up with the higher ups- and that would be a hassle.

He slid Ouroboros out of his pocket, '...another Nox Nyctores, is that? This ones familiar...' he glanced back at Mu, making sure to keep his footsteps quiet. He heard a shout, instantly recognizing the voice, and sped up his pace towards the room it came from, curious as to what was going on.

Makoto was being driven backwards, which was probably for the best, but avoided the hits the best of her ability. One hit was blocked by the metal bracelet on her arm, another by the steel tip of her boot... a ninja would be amazed, but Makoto wasn`t proud of her performance. It would only be a matter of time until the raged Samurai would be getting the best of her.
She had to get back her gun and either get him down or get going to report him to the headquarters.

Whats wrong, Major? Its common knowledge by now that you lust for him.

She was teaseing him more, sometimes reaching her arm out in the gaps the sword cuts left to try and get to Deus Ex.

What the...?

....do you feel that too? She asked, disturbed by the abnormously high concentration of power in the area.

Jin grew more and more upset with each missed strike. His pain from his earlier wounds slowly dissipated as his body administered its natural adrenaline. He noticed that he was rapidly driving her back to the wall, that was something, at least. But for a low ranking grunt, he was having some trouble dispatching of a chipmunk/man hybrid. How embarrassing...

Jin then noticed the power of another visitor. A quite powerful one at that; however, that didn't change his objective. The new visitor wasn't there yet. And Makoto had not been dispatched yet.

There had to be no doubt this was another NOL operative. He had to pull a drastic move to ensure his own survival.

After his slash, he gave her a heaving blow to the neck, paralyzing her for long enough to manouvre behind her and knock her to her knees. Then kneeled down on her legs, and put her hands under his knees.

Then, he moved his Nox up to her neck, pressing it hard enough to cut, and be more than just a little uncomfortable, but not enough to draw blood.

Anger makes you weak, Kisaragi. The Nox Nyctores is supposed to free you of that.

Makoto coughed up, then smirked as she jabbed her elbow into Jin´s arm, hard enough to let his hand snap open, then kicked herself back up useing only her toes as jumping force, which didn´t quite get her vertical again but it was enough to let the heaviest point, in this case, her back on which Jin was, hit the ground. It wasn´t quite a standard countermeasure, but it worked well enough as Jin was buried with both his and her own weight, enough to paralyze and possibly break the ribs of a human.

Huh... that was supriseingly easy...

Footsteps could be heard in the building, comeing near. There was no time to waste, she had to leave now. Jin possibly made some accomplices who were comeing to finish her off, but it was enough to report to headquarters.
Grabbing her own Nox from the ground, she kicked Jin´s side once more to make sure he stayed down before kicking down a piece of the already rotten wall of the building to escape.

Hazama slowly approached the door and peered in. '...is that Kisaragi? Then who just left?' He make a made a hand motion to Mu informing her to stay back for the time being, then took a step forward into the room, taking a quick look around.

"Major Kisaragi? Might I inquire as to what you are doing here?" he said calmly, glancing down at Jin, "and who, might I ask, was that?" He kept Ouroboros out in his hand, just in case things ended up turning out rough.

Jin was flung mercilessly against the ground. thankfully, the ground was soft due to rot, and it absorbed most of the shock from his impact. Still, his impact was strong enough to daze, and incapacitate movement for a short amount of time.

Jin turned his head to the right, onlooking the visitor with a frown. His vision was blurred, but his hearing was still sharp. He knew the voice, from his past.

"You, you're with the NOL. You must know what I'm doing here, and that, that was a bitch who attempted an assassination."

Jin coughed, refraining from saying too much, or too fast to avoid losing his breath again.

Tsubaki had finally found him...but there was another presence here...a powerful one. She ran into the building, seeking out Jin's presence and heading up to the second floor. She wouldn't let him get killed by whoever this other presence was. When she reached the office, she was surprised to the Hazama standing over a fallen Jin. "Commander!" she exclaimed.

Hazama's head instantly turned, staring at Tsubaki. "...Would I be right in saying, this is not the woman who attempted to assassinate you just now?" he muttered to Jin, standing upright. "...Ether way, I'd like a full explination of just what is going on. Why you have not returned to headquaters, Major Kisaragi, and why you are... here, miss Yayoi".

He mentally cringed... this was becoming a hassle. Perhaps it would be easier to just kill them both now with Mu and get back to finding that doctor...

Jin moved a hand to his chest, to the left side where he felt some excruciating pains. He pressed his hand down upon the spot, and sure enough, he had a line of broken ribs. If that wasn't horrifying enough, there was still the problem of him not even being able to move his legs, or his other arm, for that matter.

He muttered something under his breath, but finally spoke to say.

"Fine... Makoto Nanaya attempted to assassinate me, also, I'm looking for a certain Doctor in this sector."

Jin pressed his moving hand to the ground, in an attempt to get up. Which failed.

Part of him wished Tsubaki had not had to see him in his a little more than damaged state of body.

"Listen, Commander Hazama. If you can help me find the Doctor that operates here in Orient town, I'm sure you could find a use for my profession."

"The profession of war.." He thought, slightly under the maddening effects of excruciating pain.
